Exporting a budget to CSV

Sometimes you need your budget outside of EventOps — to drop into a spreadsheet, run your own analysis, or hand to your accountant. From an event's Budget tab, you can export the whole budget as a CSV file in a couple of clicks.

The export captures the current state of your budget at the moment you run it. That includes your categories, the line items inside them, and their amounts, so the file mirrors exactly what you see in the app.

Because the CSV reflects the budget as it stands, it's worth making sure your figures are up to date before you export. Any quotes, commitments, or payments you've recorded will be included.

A few things the export is handy for:

• Sharing numbers with your accountant or finance team
• Building custom reports in a spreadsheet
• Keeping an offline record at a point in time
