Creating and issuing client invoices
Open an event and choose Invoices, then New invoice. Build the draft from one or more payment milestones such as a deposit and final balance. Each milestone has an amount, currency, due date, and payment status; the invoice total is the sum of its milestones.
Review the draft before choosing Issue. Issuing assigns the invoice number and freezes the milestone snapshot the client owes. Issued invoices appear in the client portal and can be downloaded as PDF. A draft can be voided, while paid invoices retain their financial record.
When Stripe Connect is available, the client can pay an eligible milestone through secure checkout. You can also record an out-of-band receipt with Mark paid. EventOps updates the milestone and invoice roll-up only after reconciliation succeeds.
Access and roles
Agency members with event access can read the invoice list allowed by RLS. Creating,
editing, issuing, voiding, and manually marking payment requires invoices.manage,
included in Owner, Admin, and Planner. Clients see only invoices for their event and
cannot edit agency accounting records.
See /help/payments for collection and vendor-payment distinctions.
